Service Projects
Our Rotary club have done several community projects during the years.
Nala Re Thabile Youth Center:
Donation of instant porridge to the Youth Center situated in Bothaville Industrial area.
Western Cape Water Project:
Our club in cooperation with the community of Bothaville sending much needed drinking water to the drought stricken Western Cape.
Wheelchairs for the Disabled:
Our club distributed wheelchairs for physical disabled community members.
Cupcakes for Polio day:
Our club members and spouses baking cup cakes and distributed them throughout our community - Old Age Home, Youth Centers, Rotaria Housing Scheme
The Easter Bunny Visits Bothaville
On Thursday, 18 April 2019, the day before Easter Weekend the Easter Bunny visited Bothaville.
The Rotary Club of Bothaville gave out parcels with easter eggs and some sweets at 3 different venues: EIKELAAN YOUTH CENTRE, ROTARIA HOUSING COMPLEX AND NALA RE-THABILE YOUTH CENTRE.
The kids and elderly were very delighted with their parcels and enjoyed the sweets immensely!
The Rotary Club also made use of the opportunity to give some bags of maize meal and samp to the elderly at Rotaria, which is actually done on a monthly basis due to the generous donation of Thuso Mills in Bothaville.
